Basilica San Clemente is both a working Roman Catholic of the Irish Dominican friars and also an archeological site of exceptional historic, religious, artistic, cultural political significance. Its activities, and opening hours, can be distinguished between access to the Basilica (which is always free) and access to the archeological excavations (purchase of a ticket is required).
